RANDY MERROL BROWN
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Randy of Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 70 years.
Randy (Papa, Bear) will be cherished for his deep love of family and friends, as well as for the countless adventures he embraced, both near and far. With over 30 years as a backhoe operator for the gas company, later known as Manitoba Hydro, he exemplified dedication and hard work. Randy's passion for music and unwavering support for The Jets and The Bombers showcased his vibrant spirit and zest for life.
He will be forever missed by wife Barbara (Bobbie) Brown (Joseph); daughter Shannon Gillich; son-in-law Daniel Gillich; granddaughters, Teegan Gillich, Emma Gillich, Elizabeth Gillich. He is also survived by his brother Robert Brown; sister-in-law Darlene Brown; sister Tracey Lilly (Brown); brother-in-law Norman Lilly; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be no formal service at this time.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to CancerCare Manitoba, the Palliative Care Program, Home Care/Nursing, MAID, and all the dedicated healthcare providers who supported us throughout our journey. Your compassion and kindness made a profound difference in our lives, and we are truly thankful for the care and empathy you showed us during this challenging time.
Memorial donations in Randy’s memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
