JIM EVANS

March 27, 1953 - February 28, 2024

His memory is as dear today as in the hour he passed away.

He leaves behind a legacy so great it's beyond measure,

Our hearts full of beautiful memories so precious that we will treasure.

A life of kindness and laughter, your love for all the family so true,

You did your best for all of us and we will always remember you.

It has been a year since we lost our precious Jim, beloved husband to Chris, stepfather to Shannon (Warren) and Allyson (Brendan), and grandfather to Erica, Ashton and Torsten.

We miss him every day and think of him often.

Jim will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.

WISH YOU WERE HERE

  • Jim remains in our memories as a kind generous up standing and inspirational person. As a youngster I first met Jim while sparing on my Dads Men's League curling team. I enjoyed playing on the team when I could especially if Jim was there. Being a excellent curler Jim was willing to help me with my game and would help or practice with me. At that time I did not realize that Jim would become so close to our Family for the next 40 years. He became a great friend to all of us, he was a person that I looked to for advise on many subjects. It was always a pleasure to see Jim at any function or event. I can't imagine how he is missed by Chris, Shannon Allyson and family. Anyone who knew Jim will definitely miss his intelligence, calm demeanour and wonderful low key sense of humor. I know Kelley and I will. He will not be forgotten in our hearts.
