It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of our father, Thomas Richard Pinchbeck at the age of 95 years on February 23, 2025. He lived a meaningful and fulfilling life.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Ellen Maude and Thomas Pinchbeck. Tom (Rick) married Marjorie Thorburn in October, 1950, whom he met in Calgary, AB and subsequently settled in Winnipeg. Tom worked at the Canadian Pacific Railway as a blacksmith, welder and in the diesel shop as a manager.
To cherish his memory, he leaves his children, Marina (Jerry) and Martin (Deen) as well as two grandchildren Michael (Fran) and Christine (Cody), as well as three great-grandchildren and special friend Dot Frater.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street, Winnipeg, MB at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of your choice.

Tom was like a brother from another mother to my Mom Evelyn at Concordia Village. Table dinner mates and sometimes the monthly birthday parties or other fun party activities. He will be missed. They both share birth year of 1929 From time to time my Mom would ask me to replace batteries in his watch. Buy a birthday card or welcome to the family baby card or even a celebratory baby outfit for Tom to give to his family.
