• Dear Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss, John was a kind and dear soul, that will be forever missed. I know that he is safe and comfortable with your Mom and Dad, and all that have gone before. My most treasured memory of John is when I was out with a group of friends, in Kildonan Park, and there came this amazingly "chopped" motorcycle, and we all looked as it passed, and there he was riding in his glory! • Dear Terry, Susan, Sandra (Jules), Ron and Tracy, We're so sorry for the loss of your dear brother John. Our deepest sympathy during this sad time. Our Opa (grandfather) passed away in 1971 Johnny (my eldest cousin) came and lived with our Oma (grandmother) to keep her company during this difficult time. Since my family (Auntie Mary and Uncle Tom and I) lived next door to Oma, I was able to spend some time with my cousin John. He loved music and was learning to play the guitar. Since I was learning how to play piano at the time, he asked if I could help write out some of the notes as he was figuring out the chords of the sheet music "Classical Gas" by Mason Williams. We laughed quite a bit sitting at my piano, because I was just learning and so was he. Whenever I hear this beautiful song I think of John and that time in our lives. I remember John as a free spirit, gentle, smart, hard working and kind. We will be praying for John and your family.
