ANNE HELEN MCLAUGHLIN
Anne Helen McLaughlin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the age of 98 at Bethania Personal Care Home.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Helen Powroznik; husband Robert Cecil (Cec) McLaughlin; sister and brother-in-law Natalie and Stan Anders and her brother-in-law Lucien (Pierre) Nault.
She is lovingly remembered by her only child Robert (Heather) McLaughlin; sister Bette Nault; niece Darlene (Wally) Hamm; nephew Donald (Peggy) Anders; niece Debra Anne (Gordon) Preece and great nieces and nephews.
Born in Winnipeg, Anne grew up in Dauphin, MB. Anne and her family were Jehovah’s Witnesses and from her early years she was a Bible student and teacher of God’s Word.
She met and married the love of her life - Cec in May of 1956. They were a close and loving family and raised their son Rob to be a fine Christian man. They shared their faith and hospitality to friends and family over many happy years.
The family wishes to thank Bethania Personal Care Home for their outstanding and loving care of Anne. The kindness shown to Anne will always hold a special place in the family’s heart.
A private family interment will take place at St. Vital Cemetery.

A memorial service for Anne will be held Saturday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 937 Gateway Road, East Kildonan. For those unable to attend in person, the service can be accessed on Zoom. The meeting ID is 849 3993 9308. The passcode is 276978

I was just reading the Free Press obituaries now. I'm sorry I missed the Memorial. I appreciate being a small part of Ann's move from her home and have reminders of her in my house now. Of course, items were shared with others. Im sorry for your loss and appreciate the challenges you had living in the Maritimes, while helping your Mom.
