It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our son Daryl on August 12, at the age of 40.
He leaves behind to mourn his father Gil, mother Sharon, sister Jennifer, grandmother Rose and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Daryl was a kind soul with a big heart and was always willing to help. He was a very social person and had made many friends over the years. Daryl had held several jobs; his last employment was at Pro-Data, in the computer business his father founded, where he excelled in sales.
Daryl had a keen interest in cars, and spent much time looking after his Toyota Supra and Ford Mustang GT. He enjoyed golf and hockey and he was an avid fan of the Winnipeg Jets.
Daryl's real love was in public service. He became a certified firefighter and looked forward to serving the community. However, a medical condition prevented him from pursuing this career path; and also made working difficult the last few years.
Daryl put on a brave face and tried to make the most out of life. We loved him dearly and he will forever be in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
A private family service will be held.

I am so sorry to hear of Daryl’s passing. I remember him as such a nice, bright, intelligent boy. Always polite, he was a pleasure to be around. Despite being the only boy in the family, he was loved by all his girl cousins. I cannot imagine the heartbreak you are going through. I pray that in time, you will be comforted by the happy memories that you have of a truly special son. Gil, Sharon and Jen, Charlene and I are so saddened to learn of the passing of your son and brother Daryl. There are no words that will ease the pain but please know you have the love and support of your friends in this difficult time. I can remember friendly and pleasant dealings with Daryl when he worked at pro data. He was truly a genuine and caring person. He will be missed by all who loved him.
