Kimberly Louise Gibson (nee Garrioch) aged 62, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on October 7, 1962, in Winnipeg to Clayton and Shirley Garrioch of Grosse Isle. Kim lived a life full of love, kindness, and strength, always putting family and friends at the heart of everything she did.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Cameron, her daughters Danika (Andrew), Erika (Gregory), her siblings Randy (Karen), Heather (Boniface), Cindy (Reg), and many other relatives and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Clayton and Shirley, as well as her sister Wendy.
Kim will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and her selfless and giving nature. She loved playing golf, getting together with friends for card games, shopping with her daughters, and cruising around the world with her husband.
Though there will be no public funeral, the family deeply appreciates the love and support extended during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to CancerCare Manitoba.

We were so saddened to hear about Kim’s passing. There are so many fond memories of seeing Kim and Cam at ringette practises and games for many years. Tournaments, meetings and parties brought us together several times per week. Kim was a big part of all these times voicing her opinions, helping out the girls and the teams, all with her wonderful, dry sense of humour.
