It is with sadness the family of Daphne announces her passing on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 11:36 a.m. at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 78. At the time of her passing, Daphne was surrounded with love and compassion.
Daphne is survived and cherished by her husband Ron of 51 years, their sons, Sean (Crystal) and Brett, along with the family’s pride and joy, Frankie (dog).
Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., St. Mary Anglican Church, 3830 Roblin Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3R 0E4.

So sorry to hear of Daphne's passing. Please accept our heart felt condolences for you Ron and your family. I really enjoyed our infrequent chats we would have when Frankie was out being walked or when she would come out when I was clearing snow. Daphne - she was a spirited fun-loving friend. My ex and I spent a lot of fun weekend evenings with her and Ron; at their home or ours. She was a fantastic hostess, a super good cook and her "Beef Wellington" was superior! And we all loved our wine amidst sharing food, fun, gossip and much laughter. As well Peter and I spent a great deal of fun entertaining evenings with them too. I am sorry I didn't keep in closer contact but life changes, moves and careers sometimes change our paths. I often gave thought of fond memories of both of them. Ron: Peter and I send our heartfelt and loving condolences to you and your sons at this very sad time. I know how very much you loved Daphne and her absence has left a gaping hole in your heart. Know that we're thinking of you and send our prayers and love to all of you.
