GRAY PARKER HART


Gray Hart, beloved husband of Barbara Hart, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 93. Gray and Barb were blessed with 70 wonderful years of marriage.

He will be deeply missed by his children Steven (Janet), Karen (Dan), Dianne (Calvin), and James (Kerry). Cherished grandfather of Dylan, Kristin, Dane, Jennifer, Ken, Kristine, Emily, and Carter.

Gray spent the majority of his career working at both Vulcan Machinery and Querel Equipment. After retiring, he continued to stay active, working part-time with Wallace and Wallace Fencing. He was also a longtime member of the Shriner Motor Patrol, raising funds for the Shriners Hospital for Children, and an avid runner for over 30 years.

Gray will be fondly remembered by the countless friends whose lives he touched. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

  • Barb, I was so deeply saddened to hear about your loss of Gray. I had been trying to reach Gray by phone for sometime but to know avail; so sorry to read that he had passed. Gray had been my dear friend since grade school, neighbourhood pal, he was my longest childhood friend and my heart aches for your loss. Please know that I’m thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. I’m holding on to all the years of memories, friendship and shenanigans we shared, and there are many! I will miss our telephone conversations and the jokes we shared between us. I hope you can find some comfort in the love of your family and support around you.
