At the close of a lovely summer, we sadly announce Peter's sudden passing in Dryden, Ontario on Friday October 17, 2025 at the age of 85.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Peg of 56 years; sons, Kerry (Shannon) and Jonathan (Seth); granddaughters, Amber, Heather, Megan and Erin. Peter was predeceased by son Jeffrey and daughter Elizabeth.
Peter taught Dental Materials at the University of Manitoba. He enjoyed the outdoors and time spent with Scouts Canada.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 830 North Drive, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Boniface Cardiac Care or Children's Hospital.

Dear Peg and family, Peter was a great friend and colleague. We worked together for 25 years, and Lois and I shared many fun events with you and Peter, such as the ICD dinners. I’m glad you and Peter could make it to my 80th Birthday party last year with our longstanding friends. I’ll miss Peter at our semi-annual brunch get-togethers with Brock.
