It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Margaret Weitkowitz on October 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Sharon was surrounded by love as she peacefully passed away at Concordia Place after a long illness.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Peter Weitkowitz, her son Douglas (Jen), daughters, Deborah (Pat) and Darlene (Michael). She is also survived by her grandsons, Kyle (Danielle) and Connor, and great-granddaughter. She will be deeply missed by her best friend Maureen.
We would like to give thanks to both Bergen Gardens Memory Care Centre and Concordia Place. You loved Sharon like your family. We will always be grateful for your care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Bergen Gardens (1475 Molson Avenue) on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

Sharon and I were very good friends while we worked together in the Legislative Building. I remember her typing away constantly working on her mom’s diaries. So sad to see her passing way too soon.
