With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Franz Neufeld. He is now reunited with his wife Anny, and children Lanie and Werner.
He is survived by daughter-in-law, Betty, sons, Neil (Heather), Adolf (Charlene) and Ron; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, Winnipeg, with interment at Glen Eden Cemetery immediately following the luncheon after the service. There will be viewing prior to the service.

Franz was a man with Marvel character traits: strong, invisible, driven, great sense of humor, caring, and enjoyed the company of others. Franz's work ethic, determination and dedication to everything he did was always at a premium. This ranged from working at KC behind the single rip saw to gardening at the property at Winnipeg Beach and of course playing the BBQ chef when entertaining others at home or at the beach property. Spending time with Franz at the lake property leaves special memories that may be captured in pictures but are embedded in the memory bank for a lifetime. Franz loved homemade Hunne Suppe along with many other German delightful foods which were shared with friends along with many laughs. His wave at the Bethania lunch table was always complimented with some kind of humorous comment. Your wave today tells us - until we meet again.
