• Geoff, was a constant friend and an impressive university colleague. He was an Ulsterman from Armagh, who like many Ulstermen abroad became a self-conscious Irishman. He was a rollicking humorist and an impressive geographer. I never saw him down and our meetings always produced a sense of camaraderie and acceptance. • Linda and I would offer our deepest condolences to the Scott family at the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. We knew Geoff as a neighbour and friend in Richmond West from the very early times when that development had just begun. • My condolences to Nila and family. I was a close neighbour in Richmond West and remember many good times with Geoff and Nila. I fondly remember the many days we rode the bus to downtown Winnipeg (work) and the great conversations we had along the way.
