Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Geoff, was a constant friend and an impressive university colleague. He was an Ulsterman from Armagh, who like many Ulstermen abroad became a self-conscious Irishman. He was a rollicking humorist and an impressive geographer. I never saw him down and our meetings always produced a sense of camaraderie and acceptance. He is a great loss. - Posted by: Allen Mills (Friend and colleague) on: Nov 22, 2025

  • My deepest condolences to you, Nila, and your family! I didn’t know Geoff well but I could see he was a very kind man. He was surrounded by love, may your memories give you comfort and peace. RIP Geoff. 🙏🦋 - Posted by: Diana (Friend) on: Nov 19, 2025

  • Linda and I would offer our deepest condolences to the Scott family at the loss of a husband, father and grandfather. We knew Geoff as a neighbour and friend in Richmond West from the very early times when that development had just begun. He was always a very active member of the community and we are honoured to have known him. - Posted by: Len and Linda Seguin (Neighbour and friend) on: Nov 16, 2025

  • My condolences to Nila and family. I was a close neighbour in Richmond West and remember many good times with Geoff and Nila. I fondly remember the many days we rode the bus to downtown Winnipeg (work) and the great conversations we had along the way. Please be comforted by the fact that Geoff was a great guy, always willing to be a friend. - Posted by: Rick Valcourt (Friend) on: Nov 15, 2025
