LYNNE PERSOAGE

(nee MOSKWA)

In loving memory of Lynne Katherine Persoage (née Moskwa), who passed away on November 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully with her husband and the love of her family surrounding her.

Lynne was born in Whitemouth, Manitoba in 1957 to Stan and Milly Moskwa. She attended Red River Community College and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a legal secretary. While at college in 1975, she met the love of her life and best friend, Reid Persoage. They married in 1983 and welcomed a daughter Katelyn in 1989 and a son Michael in 1991 and Lynne soon found herself spending countless hours at soccer fields and hockey rinks.

She was exceptionally close with her entire family, embracing her role as the planner of birthday parties, reunions, Christmas Eve dinners, and vacations. The mantra in the Persoage household was, “Nothing happens unless it’s put on the calendar in the kitchen.” Lynne and Reid traveled extensively throughout Canada and the US, including visits to every province. In retirement, Lynne enjoyed spending time with family, camping with friends, and volunteering at CancerCare Manitoba.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 42 years, Reid: her children, Katelyn (Zach) and Michael; her sister Michele (Marcel); and numerous extended family members and friends, many of whom grew as close as family over the years. Lynne was preceded in death by her brother Gord and her parents.

A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held on November 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd in Winnipeg. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the nurses of Ward GH-06 at HSC.
