BEVERLY EILEEN BERZUK
Beverly was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 25, 1946, to parents, Eileen and Norman McLean.
In 1968, Beverly married her true love, Jamie Berzuk, and started their adventure as doting parents of three energetic boys. Jamie’s career took the family on nearly two decades of countless moves between Winnipeg and Northwestern Ontario, and Beverly excelled at making every new house into a tidy home full of joy and laughter.
Beverly’s baking, cooking, and decorating (and re-decorating) skills made her a legendary host. Her Christmas parties and Sunday dinners were marked by her keen attention to detail and delicious food. Beverly will be remembered for her elegance, playful wit, inspiring kindness, and joyful spirit.
She is predeceased by her parents, Eileen and Norman “Bunt” McLean; and adoringly remembered by her husband, Jamie; her sons, Calvin (Kelli), Ryan (Megan), and Jason (Melyssa); her grandchildren, James, Cassidy, Doris, Thurston, and Perrie; her sisters, Linda (Rod) and Patti (Terry); and many nieces and nephews.
An informal drop-in celebration of Beverly’s life will be held between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the First Unitarian Universalist Church at 603 Wellington Crescent.

My wife,Linda, and I will always treasure our memories of the good times we had with “ our Bevie”. She gave new meaning to being a good hostess and true friend. This, of course, applies equally to her husband and our close friend Jamie. I first met Bev in Red Lake, Ontario. She was a radio operator/dispatcher with the Ontario Provincial Police. Bev was instrumental in helping to resolve many life-altering incidents over her years in that position. She could always be counted on to remain calm and “ motherly” when sending members out on difficult calls. We continued our close friendship over the years and distance until her recent unexpected passing. Rest in peace our friend, you will truly be missed. Love, the Morans. - Posted by: Gerry Moran (Close family friend) on: Nov 22, 2025
