It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Pall at St. Boniface Hospital after suffering a heart attack. He was predeceased by his wife Marlene of 56 years, his parents and two sisters.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Marjorie Hnydiuk; his son John Ralf; daughter Sandra Ingenmey (Martin); grandchildren, Brady, Sydney Gray (Adam); great-grandchildren, Nathan and Austin. Pall was born and raised in East Kildonan. Pall was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Tara, Karina, and Kristopher.
Horseback riding, dog training, trips to wilderness BC at Ts’yl-os Park Lodge for salmon fishing and endless fun. His daughter, Sandra, was a source of Joy and strength to Pall throughout his life, with her strong commitment to family values. Their family ties were further exemplified when moving to Niverville to live the life on the golf course.
Pall was so proud to manage his own hair styling Business at Portage and Main. He was well respected in his field and always had a joke and an embellished fishing stories for his clients. On retirement Pall, took up school bus driving to keep him off the street and out of trouble! He truly enjoyed his passengers. Pall was very active in skiing, curling, hunting, golf, bowling, pool and snooker. He was honored to serve as President of the Charleswood Golf Course. Pall’s fishing intrigue started 1985 with the fishing guys at Lunkers; which became family oriented in 1991 with the purchase of their private Paradise at Indian Bay, Malachi. The fond memories included transportation by train, hiking to Scott Lake, Christmas in July, and fishing with many great friends. The trails to other cottages was very well worn!
Pall enjoyed hosting and attending gourmet dinners with his Dinner Club friends of over 50 years. He loved cooking and was one Great Chef! During the past year, Pall and Marjorie have enjoyed travel to Alaska, Caribbean, East Coast and most recent The Panama Canal. Pall lived Life to the fullest!
Thank you to the paramedics, the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassionate attention through this difficult time.

I’ve known Pall since we were 15 years old. We were each other’s first roommates at 18 years old when we had shared a one bedroom at the California apartments on St. Marys road. Many great memories were made there and I remember the first thing Pall did when he opened his eyes was reach for a cigarette on the night table between our twin beds. I dated Marlene before my short stint in the RCAF and when I left it didn’t take Pall long to scoop her up so I know he had great taste in women. He was a true friend with a great sense of humour and will be missed by many. Rest in peace buddy. Jack and Shirley Davidson. - Posted by: Jack Davidson (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2025
