It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice, our loving Mother, Oma and Great Oma. We find comfort in the assurance that she is in her eternal home with her Lord and Saviour.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, brother Bernhard and sister-in-law Inga.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Ardice (William) and Lois (Terry). Grandchildren Jennifer (Sean), Jessica (Nikhil), Justine (Jamie) and Devin, and great-grandchildren Lily, Berkley and Adelyn. As well as extended family and friends throughout Canada and the US.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Mom’s home care workers for their care over the years, especially Maria. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their outstanding care, love and support during her short stay there.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, at 11:00am, with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Alice was such a sweet kind lady. She attended the financial institution I worked at years ago. I have her sugar cookie recipe, she used to treat us with her cookies. I think of her often. I am so sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Sharon (Friend) on: Nov 22, 2025
