In Loving Memory of Alan
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alan on November 15, 2025.
Alan is survived by his mother, Ethel, his loving wife Susan, and his children Julianna, Danny, Katrina (Grant), Jonathan (Destiny), Nicholas (Janelle) and beloved granddaughter, Marin. He is also lovingly remembered by his brother Brian (Lois) and family, lifelong friend, Garry Schwartz and many cherished brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends. He was predeceased by his father Emanual, his first wife Corri, and his in-laws Murray and Joyce Brooks, and Ruth and Alf Sander.
Alan loved his community deeply and could make a friend anywhere he went. He had a remarkable gift for friendship as he was easy to approach and always welcomed people into his home. Alan was kind, charismatic, goofy, and instantly loved by all who met him.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. True that!
A Celebration of Alan’s Life will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
Memorial gifts may be made to Luther Village or Trinity Thalberg Lutheran Church, places that held special meaning in Alan’s life.
