With his loving family by his side, Amador passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Amador is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Cottrell of 50 years, son Craig (Raynelle), extended family members and friends.
As per Amador’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a service will be held at a later date.

The first time I met Amador he was hanging upside down on one of our machines doing crunches, I was concerned he was going to fall. He assured me that he does things like that on a regular basis and encouraged me to try it out. He could hang from his arms and hold his legs straight out for a long time, he could perform pushups and clap between each rep, he could use our ab wheel and roll himself out into a plank. He was always drawing a crowd and people would watch in awe and admiration. He was always encouraging people to workout with him but the truth is he was one of a kind, and not too many people were as fit as he was. I always look towards the exercise area where I use to see him and I'm very sad that he is not there doing his thing.. He was a beautiful soul and had a great sense of humor.
