It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Thomas Charles Markus on November 30, 2025, at the age of 56.
Ronnie was born on October 29, 1969, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Growing up he enjoyed sports, family and friends. Hockey was a great passion as well as refereeing minor hockey. He will be remembered as being very kind, outgoing, very loving and generous. He was a forever friend to everyone he met. As a child he always had such a bond with our family dogs and later grew to love his four precious cats. He enjoyed spending time with his friend Mike going to the beach. He was a great debater of music and sports facts and had such a passion for long bike rides before his illness.
He is predeceased by his Mother Beverley Markus, Granny Mary McNamara and Uncle Bob Chagnon.
He will be sadly missed by his Brother Sean Markus, Sister Keli Foglia (Sebastiano), Nephew Tyler Markus, Aunt Sharon McLennan (Ken) Cousin Ryan McLennan and close friends Roxanne McKinney and Mike Hamerla.
Cremation has taken place.
