Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMarjorie June Reece
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of June Reece, who died peacefully on December 22, 2025. June was born May 20, 1938, in the Rural Municipality of Woodlea, Manitoba.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald (Don) Reece; her parents, Carl and Alice; and her sisters, Eileen and Evelynn. She is survived by her sons, Clinton (Pam) and Clayton (Ruth); and her sisters, Joyce, Doreen, Beverley, Gladys, and Pat; as well as her grandchildren Brendan (Erika), Alex (Rachel), C.J., and Camron, and her great-grandchildren Everett and Ryden.
While she was active in family business ventures, her greatest joy came from family and her friendships made through golf, curling, and Scrabble. She was particularly passionate about curling, winning the Senior Women's Curling Provincial Championship for Manitoba and later going on to coach others. She also made friends through her volunteer work at Ronald McDonald House.
As her mobility declined, her grandchildren and friends stepped forward with kindness—especially Linnea and her family. The family would also like to thank her niece, Bub, for her care and support in her final hours.
June will be remembered for her quiet strength, generosity, and deep care for others. In keeping with her wishes, a funeral is not planned. Those wishing to honour June may consider a donation to Ronald McDonald House.
