NELSON BARANYK
Nelson Baranyk, age 77, beloved husband of Shirley, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Valleyview Care Centre.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, Brandon on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Yaroslav Strukhlyak as Celebrant. Cantor will be Stella Fedeniuk. Lunch will follow at the Ukrainian Reading Association Hall.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Nelson may be made to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 0G7.

Our deepest condolences to the Baranyk family on the passing of Nelson now resting in the abodes of the heavenly mansion. He was in our wedding party and always a delight to be with going back even when we attended Strathclair Collegiate. May his soul rest in peace with the rejoicing host of angels glorifying our Lord and Saviour Jesus in granting eternal life through the prayers of the Most Holy Mother of God (Theotokos) and all the Saints.
