It is with heavy hearts that after a lengthy illness, we announce the passing of Francis Harold Bates (Frank) on January 31,2026.
Frank will be greatly missed by his loving and caring wife of 43 years Adrienne, his daughters Kathie Bates, Blou Bates, Janeen Bates (Cory), Tracey Pottinger, his son Josh Chappin (Barbara) but because of the way things worked out, he never actually got to meet him or build any kind of relationship. Along with numerous grandkids and great grandkids who loved their papa dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents Frances and Dorothy Bates (nee Holt), mother-in-law Florence, three grandsons, as well as many other family and friends.
Service held at Eternal Grace February 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
