ARNOLD RICHARD MILLER

June 5, 1942 - January 31, 2026

After a short illness, Arnold passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026, at St. Boniface Hospital.

Arnold is survived by his beloved wife Sheron (nee Kereluk), and his daughter Cindy and son Richard and wife Karen. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Elliot, Sawyer, Beatrix, Logan and Lilly.

Arnold is also survived by his mother-in-law Verna Kereluk, nieces and nephews Cheryl, Kathy (Jim), Michael (Joanne) and Joey (Tammy), sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ted) and Pat.

Arnold worked in the manufacturing sector, starting at John Woods/Westeel and finishing at Motor Coach Industries. He was dedicated and well respected at work and in his home life. He expressed his creativity through decorative wrought iron work, and woodworking projects. He loved working with his hands and made a point of sharing that love with his children, welcoming them into the garage and teaching them how to build, fix and create alongside him.

Arnold and Sheron were married for 53 years. He was a devoted and supportive husband who respected his wife’s independence and partnership. He shared fully in the work of their home – he showed his love through action sharing in meal preparation, food preserving, and the steady work of maintaining their home.

After retirement, Arnold enjoyed working on his home, his yard, and garden. He was an active and devoted grandparent, deeply committed to spending quality time with his grandchildren. One of the many ways he shared that love was through the go-cart he built for his children, which later became a favourite source of joy for his grandchildren.

He was a good neighbour in every sense of the word – quick to help with repairs, ready to clear a snowy driveway and always happy to pause for an afternoon wine break. He will be missed by many friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Concordia Urgent Care and St. Boniface Hospital.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. West St. Paul. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Kildonan United Church, 174 Pentland St. Winnipeg R2G 2S3, nkuc.ca
