With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Sophie Bauknecht at Concordia Hospital on February 2, 2026, with family by her side.
Sophie is predeceased by her parents John and Mary, brother Victor, sister Julia, brothers-in-law Guenther and Heinz (Alice).
Sophie is sadly missed by her loving husband, Eugene and will forever be his sweetheart. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Freida; godson Ken (Tamara); nieces Michelle (Mark), Susie (Norm), Wendy (Jeri), Susan; nephews Peter (Carol), Michael (Karen), Brian (Nancy); many grand-nephews/nieces, cousins and friends.
