Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I’m very sorry to hear Of Mrs. Shaw’s passing. My mom Jane Cumming always enjoyed Alice’s friendship on Wharton Blvd. The Shaws invited us kids to swim in their pool. As a kid, I remember the winter sledding party, and the Christmas caroling. My parents were to New Year’s parties at the Shaws and Halloween parties. A Wharton Wildcat ( I think Mrs. Shaw put together the video ) Thinking of all the Shaw family . Tracy Cumming - Posted by: Tracy Cumming (Friend’s daughter) on: Feb 14, 2026

  • Alice and Glen were part of the Safeway Family. They were people we did not see regularly, but their friendship has not been forgotten. We remember Alice as a very friendly and cheerful lady. Whenever we dropped to visit the Shaws they were most welcoming! Our condolences to all the family, Penny & Lou Hogan, Calgary. - Posted by: Penny and Lou Hogan (The Safeway Family) on: Feb 14, 2026
