It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jeannine Caron on February 22, 2026, at Concordia Place, at the age of 91 years.
Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Allan (Jocelyn), Mark (Gisele), and Kim (Gord); grandchildren, Lisa, Natalie, Michelle, Chelsea, Aaron, and Carter; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jack, Silas, and Austin. She is also survived by her brother André (Sylvia) Allard and sisters, Anita and Angela.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob Caron, in 2011, following 27 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Raoul Allard; brothers, Roland, Fernand, and Maurice; and sisters, Yvette, Lucille and Gertrude.
Jeannine was proud of her career with Air Canada that afforded her many travel opportunities. Jeannine and Bob shared many years filled with adventure and travel. They enjoyed sailing at the Gimli Yacht Club, spending time in Mexico and Barbados, and wintering in Mesa, Arizona, where they treasured being near several of Jeannine’s siblings.
Throughout her life, Jeannine remained deeply independent and continued to live on her own until just nine days prior to her passing.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with reception to follow in the parish hall.
A private graveside interment will take place at a later date.
