Peacefully after a short illness Ernie Hutchinson (Hutch) passed away at the Grace Hospital on March 7, 2026 at the age of 101.
Born in Swallowcliffe, England, he was predeceased by his wife Isobel and son-in-law Gill Fraser. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Fraser (Jack Boroditsky), Sandra Rossnagel (Ron), grandsons, Graeme, Ian (Sandra), Scott (Meredith) Paul (Chandra) and great-grandchildren, Delia, Katelyn, Logan, Owen and Connor.
A private graveside funeral will take place at a later date.

Ernie was one of the kindest people at the transformer plant, always helpful and patient when approached for information. I am pleased that I was able to speak with him in recent months, to see that Ernie was still the fine, pleasant person I remember well.
