KENNETH REX ATKINSON

October 13, 1939 - March 29, 2025

Today marks one year since we lost Ken - a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather/ great-grandfather and cherished friend.

Though it has been a year, his absence is still felt in the quiet corners of our days, in the stories we tell, and in the moments where his presence once brought warmth and comfort.

Ken was a steady, compassionate soul - the kind of man who could anchor a family with his wisdom, humour and gentle strength. As a husband he was a true partner: loyal, patient and unwavering in his love. As a father, he offered guidance that shaped lives, teaching through both words and examples. As a grandfather/great-grandfather, he brought joy, kindness, and unforgettable memories to the ones who adored him. As a friend, he was dependable and genuine, always ready with a listening ear, a kind word, or a helping hand.

In this past year we have come to understand even more clearly how deeply he touched the lives around him. His legacy lives on in the traditions he created, the lessons he taught, and the love he poured into every person who knew him. We see him in our everyday moments - in our laughter, in our milestones, and in the stories that keep his spirit alive.

Today, we honour him not only in our grief, but with profound gratitude. To have known him - to have been loved by him - is a gift that time will never fade.

May his memory continue to guide us, comfort us and inspire us.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
