• I got to know Jean since she had first married Mel Dixon and they would both attend Weetamah in Winnipeg, for a while they would actually give me a ride there as I lived just down from them on Henderson, They truly inspired me and spiritually made me a better person, I was deeply saddened to learn of Mel's passing last summer and now of Jean's passing, they were two of the most incredible people I ever had the pleasure of knowing and I will miss them both, my thoughts and prayers are with both families as they deal with the loss of two incredible folks. - Posted by: Shayne Robert Stanton (Salvation Army friend) on: May 01, 2026

• So sorry to read about this passing. My deepest condolences to all the family. I have nothing but fond memories of Aunty Jean and all the good times we used to have going on picnics to Kildonan Park and visits in each other's homes.
