ANGELO PICA

December 16, 1942 - April 18, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Angelo Pica on April 18, 2026, at the age of 83. Angelo was born in Benevento, Italy on December 16, 1942. He immigrated to Canada in August, 1959, at the age of 16.

Angelo was predeceased by his dear wife Maria Pica (née Nave) in 2015. They were married in Italy in September 1966. He was also predeceased by his father Giuseppe Damiano Pica (1985), mother Maria Pica (1995), and brothers-in-law, Maj. Gordon Prichard (2004) and Santillo Capozzi (2023).

Left to cherish his memory are his three sisters, Anna Capozzi, Antonia (Marino) Melizza, and Augusta Prichard of British Columbia. He will also be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Europe and Australia.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Avenue, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Angel Mausoleum, in Green Acres Cemetery (Hwy. #1 East at Navin Rd.)
