ROBERT (BOB) EDWARD BOND
Robert “Bob” Edward Bond, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at the age of 84 years, surrounded by his wife, daughter and two sons at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Born on May 27, 1942, Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who spent 33 years as a beloved high school teacher and guidance counsellor.
He loved music, was a talented singer and enjoyed gardening, paddling and bonfires. He was known for his genuine warmth and sense of humour, including the occasional pun and his kindness touched everyone who knew him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ellie; son Jeff (Rhonda), granddaughters Lindsay and Robyn; daughter Joanne (Alan), grandchildren Erik and Emily; son Graeme (Susan) and grandsons Haaken and Heikki.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to Lake of the Woods District Hospital or the Grace Hospital.
