The family of Dorothy Kerr announce her passing on May 8, 2026 at Riverview Health Centre.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Ken and brother Loane Kelsch.
Many thanks to her nephew Robert and family whose unwavering help made her life peaceful and stress free. Also special thanks to Noah, Edward and Clara for their care and help.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Mike and I are very saddened by the passing of Dorothy, a wonderful woman, kind hearted spirit and gentle soul. For years, Lorne eagerly looked forward to November when Dorothy would come and spend a few weeks with him and always wanted her to stay permanently. While she was here in Calgary, Dorothy and I shared many happy times shopping, going to the casino (even though we never won), going to music events and the many in depth conversations we had about health, life, family and finding recipes we thought sounded great but knew we would never make. I will miss our friendship, telephone calls and lengthy messenger conversations. Thank you Robert for giving of your time to bring Dorothy out to Lorne's funeral.
