Sheila I was so very sorry to hear of the loss of Rick your beloved husband. My Condolences to you and your family. I met Rick several years ago when I first called on him to talk about the Bible. He was most gracious, humble, kind and respectful. We shared many scriptures including those of the promised Resurrection and the wonderful hope we have of living forever on a paradise earth, Ps. 37:11,39. Rick told us amusing stories such as of life in Thompson and the antique car he had in the driveway. On one visit we had the privilege of meeting his father who was about to move. Your beautiful yard Sheila was something we always admired. One day we went to your office so I could finally meet you. Shortly after I was excited to tell you who had bought the house next door to you - my son Darin and wife Monique. And what great friends and neighbor's you became! The last time I saw Rick he was making us laugh as we sat around a fire with Darin in his backyard. May you find comfort in the scriptures and in the love of family and friends in your time and grief. Elfie - Posted by: Elfie Martens (Friend) on: May 30, 2026
