JOHN SAWATZKY
John Sawatzky, 89, of Winnipeg, MB, formerly of Altona and area, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Concordia Hospital.
He is survived by two sisters, one brother, two sisters-in-law, and their families. He is predeceased by his parents and nine siblings.
A private family interment will take place prior to the service at the Altona Cemetery.
John’s memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden.

My condolences to John's family. I knew John from Brooklands Active Living Center. We were both members for a lot of years and shared a table playing bingo every Monday.
