Survived by his children Ira van den Berg (spouse Greg Butterfield), Roy van den Berg (spouse Penny van den Berg), Gail Waskiewicz (nee van den Berg, spouse Jack Waskiewicz), Omar van den Berg (spouse Yana Slichnaya), and grandchildren Kane, Tyler, Chase, Mason, Mackenzie, Seth, Yevaras, Liam, Vlad, and Roy.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd, Winnipeg, MB.

Dear Ira, Roy, Gail, Omar and grandchildren, your mom and dad were the loveliest people! I got to know them at the old childrens hospital when Omar was a baby and the patient. I think of you all and Bob and Hermie so often! My thoughts and prayers go out to you on the loss of your dad.
