BEVERLEY IRENE BRIDGEMAN

July 4, 1941 - June 18, 2026

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our wife, mom and grandma Beverley Bridgeman surrounded by her loving family on June 18, 2026, at the Souris Health Centre.

Beverley was born on July 4, 1941, in the RM of Blanchard on the home farm, daughter of Raymond and Bernice Newitt.

Beverley attended school at Moline and Rapid City, attended the Brandon Business College, then worked at Northern Auto Parts until she got married and became a farm wife and mom.

On June 19, 1965, she married Norman Bridgeman of Moline, MB. They began farming in the Moline area until 2013. They then moved to Rivers, MB where they still resided.

Beverley was an active member of the Moline Community and Church committees.

Beverley was very committed to the Church and God. Her faith was very strong. She made so many great friends at the churches she attended.

In the past couple of years, she enjoyed going to morning coffee every Wednesday with the Community Church friends. Also, most afternoons she would go for coffee with another group of friends. She enjoyed making new friends.

Beverley’s greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She went to many of their activities over the years, which included hockey, baseball, gymnastics, 4-H and dance recitals. She loved it when we were all together.

Beverley leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Norman, daughter Cindy (Mike), son Chad (Valeska), son Marty (Kat), son Dallas; her grandchildren: Cody (Kendra), Courtney (Luke), Stefanie (Cody), Colby (Dana), Chase, Jayden (Lindsay), Taylor and Sarah; her great-grandchildren, Ellie, Cash, Oaklynne, Jake, Gracie, Kinsley, Lainey, Janessa, Branson, Ashlynn and Isley. Also survived by sister-in-law Beverley Newitt, sister-in-law Phyllis (Rod) Veitch and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverley was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Bernice Newitt, brother Barry Newitt, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Marj Bridgeman.

The funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel on Tuesday June 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Abe Krahn will be officiating.

Interment will take place at the Rapid City Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Beverley may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 727B 10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4G7 or Canadian Cancer Society, 415-1st Street, Brandon, MB R7A 2W8.
