JAMIESON ALLAN LONGE
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jamieson Allan Longe surrounded by his family, following a lengthy journey with cancer. Jamie was able to celebrate his 44th birthday a few weeks before his death on June 24th, 2026, at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
Jamie’s family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg for providing exceptional, compassionate care for Jamie.
A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held on Monday, July 27th, at Assiniboia Downs (3975 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB). Doors open at 1:00 p.m. for mingling, service starts at 2:00 p.m., and a light lunch will be served following the service. Feel free to dress casually and wear blue/Blue Jays gear or plaid in honour of Jamie. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honour of Jamie to CancerCare Manitoba.
