"Jakey" was my friend the moment we met! We enjoyed many laughs together and some serious talks as well about our lives. He was always willing to listen and I'm thankful that he was a part of my life. 24/7 was a great place to gather especially for the Grey Cup Games! I'm so going to miss you my friend, but you're at peace now. Say hi to Martin up in heaven for me. - Posted by: Cheryl Dodd (Friend) on: Jul 13, 2026

I have wonderful memories of my preteen years - minibike rides, snowmobile rides and volleyball games with Perry when he and his family spent time at their country acreage on weekends. Perry continued to be part of my life as we grew into adults, as we shared some of the same lifelong friends. Perry, you will be missed by me and so many people who were proud to be your friend! - Posted by: Tanis Walker (Cousin and friend) on: Jul 11, 2026
