Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • I have known Rick since the 80s when he was at Safeway . We had many laughs together . We kept bumping into each other through out the years and he was always a great guy , Very Sad to hear of Ricks Passing - Posted by: Frank Marr (business Friend) on: Jul 14, 2026

  • "Rick" was a work colleague who managed the Winnipeg Distribution operations of Safeway for many years. We were always welcomed by Rick and Linda to the Koster's home and occasionally at the cottage with our young family. Rick later moved on to another career. Our unexpected visits to Rick and Linda in the years following were always greeted warmly. Rick would greet us with a great smile, something that was just his nature. We treasured their friendship over many years. Rick will be missed. Our condolences to Linda, Cheryl, Kristine and the family. Penny, Lou Hogan and family. - Posted by: Hogan Family (Friend of the Koster family & Work Colleague) on: Jul 14, 2026

  • Richard was a kind-hearted, generous, intelligent, accomplished man. A very devoted husband, he was also the best neighbor anyone could have. Very sorry that I'll not be able to visit with him in the years ahead, lakeside, with some good food and a little wine. Condolences to Linda and his family. Good luck to Richard's dog, Woodstock, in his next home. - Posted by: Bill Hillside (Friend) on: Jul 11, 2026
