AIME RIVARD

C'est avec grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Aimé Rivard, survenu le 9 juillet 2026, à la résidence Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital (Foyer Valade) à l'âge de 95 ans.

Aimé laisse dans le deuil son épouse Colombe (née Bédard), après 70 ans de mariage. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Carmen (Richard Moquin), Oscar (Karen Dulude) et Norman, ses petits-enfants Nicole, Janelle, Renée (Sean), Michel, Stéfane (Jerimae), Joël, ses arrière-petits-enfants Annabelle, Adelynn, Olivia et Samantha, ses sœurs, Germaine et Marie-Reine, ses beaux-frères François LaRoche et Clément Bédard, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut précédé dans la mort par son père Oscar, sa mère Célina, ses frères Joseph (Joe) (Marguerite), Arthur (Cécilia), Wilfrid (Agnès), sa sœur Cécile (Lucien), ses beaux-parents Arcade et Marie Bédard, ses belles-sœurs Anita Bertrand et Jacqueline Lavallée, ainsi que ses beaux-frères Armand Bédard et Jules Bertrand.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel d'Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital (Foyer Valade) pour les soins attentionnés et bienveillants qu'il lui a prodigués durant son bref séjour dans cet établissement. Conformément à ses dernières volontés, la crémation a eu lieu. L'inhumation de ses cendres aura lieu à une date ultérieure au cimetière Glen Lawn.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Aimé Rivard on July 9, 2026, at Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital (Foyer Valade) at the age of 95 years.

Aimé will be missed by his loving wife of 70 years, Colombe (née Bédard), his children Carmen (Richard Moquin), Oscar (Karen Dulude) and Norman, his grandchildren Nicole, Janelle, Renée (Sean), Michel, Stéfane (Jerimae), Joël, and his great-grandchildren Annabelle, Adelynn, Olivia and Samantha. He also leaves behind his sisters Germaine and Marie-Reine, brothers-in-law François LaRoche and Clément Bédard, plus numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Célina Rivard, brothers Joseph (Joe) (Marguerite), Arthur (Cécilia), Wilfrid (Agnès), sister Cécile (Lucien), his in-laws Arcade and Marie Bédard, sisters-in-law Anita Bertrand and Jacqueline Lavallée, brothers-in-law Armand Bédard and Jules Bertrand.

We thank the staff at Actionmarguerite Saint-Vital (Foyer Valade) for their kind, compassionate care during his short stay there. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and burial of his cremated remains will follow at a later date at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
