With immense love and heavy hearts, we share that our mother passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at age 83 after a long, hard fought health journey.
Predeceased by her husband Elmer (1994), she will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Lexie Shmyr and Michelle (Shaun) Shmyr-Becker and her love and pride, her granddaughters, Kate and Quinn Becker, along with extended family and friends.
Ponakhyda (prayers) will be held Thursday, July 23rd at 7:00 pm (viewing 6:00 to 7:00 pm) at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 24th at 2:00 pm, St Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 615 River Street, Shoal Lake, Manitoba.
