KATHERINE (KATIE) FINNIE 1901 - 1999 Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital, Katie, age 97 years of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Katie resided at the Lions Manor for seven months and previous to her move, she lived at Louis Riel Chalet, 67 Richfield Street, Winnipeg for many years when she lived her very active life. She was predeceased by her husband Jim, and leaves to cherish her memory numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Emiles Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Annes Road, with Reverend Father Rene Peeters, Celebrant. Interment to follow in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to Katies kind neighbours at the Louis Riel Chalet, nurses and staff at the Lions Manor and Grace Hospital for their caring attention. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
