STEFAN KURTA Peacefully, on Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at St. Boniface Hospital, Stefan Kurta, aged 84 years of Winnipeg. Stefan was born in Parhach, W. Ukraine and came to Canada with his wife Ksenia in 1948. He was self-employed as a tailor operating Steves Tailors on Sargent Avenue until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Parish. Left to cherish Stefans memory are his brother Dmytro in Ukraine, nephew Wasyl Kurta of Winnipeg, numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Ksenia and brother Nicholas. Prayers will be sung 6:00 p.m. Friday (tonight), November 5 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6 at St. Andrews Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Avenue with Mitrat J.
