Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY BUHAY (nee DRABYK) November 5, 1999 JOSEPH BUHAY May 15, 1997 With family at her side, Mary Buhay passed away peacefully at the Holy Family Nursing Home on November 5, 1999. She leaves to mourn her passing her brothers Emil Drabik and Peter (Olga) Drabyk, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Anne; brothers Michael and Joseph. Most important in her life was her husband Joseph who passed away May 15, 1997. Mary was born on January 25, 1913 in Winnipeg and grew up in Arborg, Man. on the family farm. Joseph and Mary were married on September 1, 1934 and spent almost 63 years together. During this time they worked together in various undertakings from a General Store in Lac du Bonnet to building apartments and homes in Winnipeg. Being apart was difficult for both of them, but now we can take comfort in knowing that they will be together again. Cremation has taken place and at their request no formal funeral service will be held. On Saturday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m., Mary and Joseph will be buried together at the Brightstone Cemetery (Lac du Bonnet). Thank-you to the staff of 4A at the Holy Family Nursing Home for the care and compassion shown Auntie Mary during her 2 year residency. Wed also like to extend a special thank you to Suzanne. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
