YVONNE LACHANCE (nee RIVARD) June 2, 1912 - November 9, 1999 Peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family, Yvonne Lachance of St. Eustache, Manitoba passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her three sons, Gilbert (Solange) and their children, Denis and Jacqueline (Jeff Price), Julien (Doris) and their children, Jean-Claude and Chantal (friend Denis), Roger (Carole) and their children, Hubert (Arlene) and great-grandchild Joanna, Danys (friend Stephanie), Nicole (Rick) Menary and great-grandchild Kamryn, Guylaine (fiance Darryl Berube) and great-grandchild Alix. She also leaves her brother, Alfred Trumbla; and her two sister-sin-law, Mirza and Antonia Rivard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her son Marcien in 1968 and by her husband, Hilaire in 1972 as well as by three sisters and five brothers. Mom resided and worked on the family farm in St. Eustache for 52 years before moving to the St. Eustache Manor. She was a caring person and a hard worker, admired and respected by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed by all. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Roland Tessier in the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 13 at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the St. Eustache Parish Cemetery following the mass. Pallbearers will be Yvonnes six grandchildren. Yvonnes family extends special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospitals Intensive Care Unit for the special care.
