OLGA FIRMAN Olga Firman passed away on November 27, 1999 at the age of 79 years after a period of declining health. She was born in Winnipeg and lived all her life in Manitoba. Although a long-time St. James resident, she resided in the Maples Personal Care Home in recent years because of her declining health. Olga was one of seven children of Mary and Nicholas Firman. She was predeceased by all her siblings, Steve, Walter, Mildred, John, Jean and Anne. She is survived by extended family and friends. Olga was employed by Jeannies Bakery, The Bay and the Unemployment Insurance Commission. She took early retirement to care for her ailing mother and sister. Her interests centered around her home and family. She was an avid gardener and a wonderful cook and baker. The family wishes to thank Dr. Hameed and the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home for the excellent care that Olga received. Interment has taken place.
