HELENE AUGUSTA STELLE (nee STOY) Helene Augusta Stelle (Stoy) died November 25, 1999 at the age of 98 years and 11 months. Helene was born on December 23, 1900 in Lipno, Poland. In 1945 she left her home in Poland and moved to Germany. Then in 1953 she and her family settled in Winnipeg where she lived out her life. For many years she was an active member of St. Peters Lutheran Church. She is survived by one daughter, Halina Milbradt of Winnipeg; two sons, Eugene of Winnipeg and Alfred of Bloomington, CA; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Helene was predeceased by her husband Wilhelm and son Hans. Memorial service to be held 3:00 p.m. December 4 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with viewing to begin at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church Womens Group, 65 Walnut St., R3G 1N9.
