ANNA SAS Peacefully, on December 3, 1999, Anna Sas (nee Janusz), beloved wife of the late Jean Sas, passed away at the Heritage Lodge at the age of 87 years. Anna was born on March 11, 1912 in Laszky, Poland. At a young age she emigrated with her husband to Canada after the Second World War. Together they spent many years residing in the St. Boniface area. She spent many years as an employee of the St. Boniface Hospital where she had the opportunity to work at the same location as her husband. After Jeans passing, she later moved to the Masson Colombien and in most recent years, resided at the Heritage Lodge. She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 DesMeurons St., Winnipeg, with interment to follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to service. Because of her love of children, in lieu of flowers, friends may donate to the Childrens Wish Foundation.
