Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOAQUIM (JACK) MARQUES LIMA Peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 1999 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Joaquim Lima passed away at the age of 71 years, beloved husband of 49 years to Maria Ferrnanda Lima. He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Manuel (Darlene) and Carlos (Esmenia, Sarinna). He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Jack (Irene, Alex, Nicholas), Joseph (Debbie) Paul (Anna), Sarinna and all his great-grandchildren; and also his brother-in-law Joaquim De Sousa and family. Special thanks to Domingos and Rosa Ribeiro, Mario and Posilippo family and Marcella. Pallbearers will be Jack Lima, Joaquim De Sousa, Luis Santos, Joe Cortez, Joe Ferreira and Mario Posillipo. Joaquim came to Canada in 1955 where he worked as a cement finisher up until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed raising his rabbits as a hobby. Prayers will be held at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish on Thursday, December 9, at 10:00 a.m. with entombment to follow in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.
